Upon scoring 60% or above in Black Belt exam, all participants shall be awarded with Benchmark Six Sigma certification accredited by Exemplar Global (a member of ASQ family). The passing score of BB is 60% and if you score above 70%, your certificate will carry the Benchmark Seal of Excellence. You will get a participation certificate if your score is below 60%.

A Black Belt certification requires that one be in a decision-making position or has ability to influence decisions. Black Belts need to have higher inclination towards data driven decision making. The biggest expectation from a Black Belt is to create unique roadmaps for problem solving while working with senior management. Over and above, he should demonstrate team leadership, understand team dynamics and assign team member roles and responsibilities.

The course material includes the study guide, data files, templates, quizzes and model papers. The study material is comprehensive and covers all the topics as per Six Sigma Body of Knowledge. Upon enrolling you will be given access to the digitally hosted content on the Benchmark Six Sigma Academy.

The Green Belt is typically a prerequisite for the Black Belt. However, if you have a solid foundation in Green Belt concepts, we can discuss your situation to determine if you can proceed directly to the Black Belt level.

The ECIL course is included with every Black Belt training at no extra cost.

No, the ASQ is a separate examination body. You will receive a Lean Six Sigma BB Certificate from Benchmark Six Sigma, accredited by EXEMPLAR GLOBAL (part of the ASQ family).

No, only “LEAN SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT CERTIFIED” will be mentioned. The result email will include your exam score.

The exam is conducted online. The questions in the final exam include material covered in all phases of the training. The exam has 150 Questions (Multiple-Choice) and lasts 4 hours. There is no negative marking and it is an Open-Book Exam.

We provide 1 complimentary certification project in Black Belt. For the certification project in BB, the participant can choose from a manufacturing related project or a service related project.

No project is not mandatory for BB training with Benchmark Six Sigma.

Yes. We provide certification projects to Black Belts. You can choose from a service sector or manufacturing sector project. It is a self paced certification project course. Upon completion a project certificate will be issued. Please keep in mind that this is not a live project, it is a certification project I which the data is masked and project is not being done for any organization.

The ideal gap is ZERO. The more techniques you learn, the better placed you are for solving a range of problems. Black Belt is considered as a designation by itself. A Black Belt is a problem solving expert. Black Belt training also helps revise Green Belt learning.
