1. Identify Business Challenge – Many visitors to the Benchmark website were unsure which program suited them best. With multiple domains — Lean Six Sigma, Analytics, AI, Leadership, Innovation — and different certification levels, it was not easy for individuals to decide their next step confidently. This solution was created to guide visitors toward the most appropriate program based on their profile, instead of leaving them to guess.

2. Conduct Suitability & Feasibility Check – The challenge involves understanding a visitor’s background, experience, aspirations, and prior certifications — all expressed in natural language. This makes it well-suited for an AI-driven guidance system. Benchmark already has structured program data, defined learning pathways, bundles, and a web interface, making the solution both suitable and practical to implement.

3. Select Appropriate AI Type – A Conversational AI approach is used to capture structured inputs from visitors. Generative AI then evaluates those inputs against program data, prioritizes suitable bundles, and produces a clear, reasoned recommendation.

4 Input Capture: Structured inputs such as role, experience, industry, certifications, and future goals are collected. Users can refine or update their information at any stage.

5. LLM-First Engine: Programs are retrieved dynamically from structured JSON sourced from product pages. Matching logic evaluates relevance and prioritizes appropriate bundles above individual programs.

6. Iterative Logic: If users indicate they have already completed a suggested program or wish to change direction, the system re-evaluates and recommends the next best pathway.

7. Intent & CRM: When enrollment interest is detected, structured lead information is captured and pushed to Zoho CRM via Zapier for follow-up.

8. Controlled Fallback: If clarity is insufficient, the system asks additional questions. The final fallback is to seek permission for personal contact with a Benchmark expert.
