  • Exam for Lean Practitioner and Lean Guide is a one hour exam with multiple choice questions. The passing score is 60% and if you score above 70%, your certificate will carry the Benchmark Seal of Excellence. You will get a participation certificate if your score is below 60%.

  • No prior experience or qualifications are required to enroll in the Lean Practitioner or Lean Guide programs. The courses are designed to cater to both beginners and professionals with varying levels of experience. We start with foundational concepts and gradually progress to advanced tools and techniques, making the programs suitable for anyone interested in process improvement.

  • A certified lean expert is aware of the various lean concepts, philosophies,tools and plays a pivotal role in process improvement in a company.


  • Kaizen events are short-term brainstorming and implementation sessions intended to improve an existing process. They aid breakthrough improvements in as little as a few days, while creating a continual improvement culture. “Kaizen” refers to a Japanese word which means “improvement” or “change for the better”.


    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training is likely to take about five weeks in an online training program if one has completed Green Belt earlier. If someone has not pursued Green Belt, the Black Belt training program will take about eight weeks of learning.
    • However, it’s important to approach this certification as more than just a short-term goal.
    • Participants should allocate additional time for learning the concepts, practicing exercises, and reflecting on real-world applications of the techniques. While mastering the tools and techniques may be straightforward, developing the ability to effectively apply them in diverse scenarios requires dedicated effort and critical thinking.
    • The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt skills are a lifelong asset, providing a foundation for continuous improvement and problem-solving. To truly excel, learners are encouraged to explore the nuances of the methodology even after completing the certification.

  • The Black Belt program begins with a comprehensive Green Belt tools and techniques refresher. Our multifaceted training methodology encompasses lectures, Q&A sessions, small group discussions, review sessions, exercises, tests, and hands-on practical problem-solving. Additionally, it includes demonstrations, case studies, live or video demonstrations, simulations, role-playing, peer teaching, guided practice with feedback, brainstorming, problem-solving, and article discussions. This certification program offers an advanced exploration of the Lean Six Sigma methodology, blending case-driven knowledge with practical application. By the end of the program, participants are well-equipped to tackle and resolve complex business challenges using Lean Six Sigma principles.


  • The average batch size ranges from 15 to 20 participants, which allows for personalized attention and an engaging learning experience.


    • Black Belt (BB) Weekend batch: Sessions timings are 9:00 am to 11:00 am and then 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
    • Black Belt (BB) Weekday batch: Session timings are 7pm to 9 pm from Tuesday to Friday.
