What is DFSS?

Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) is one of the process improvement methodology under Six Sigma. DFSS is also sometimes known as DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) or IDOV (Identify, Design, Optimize, Verify).

It is used in the following scenarios
1. Developing a new process or a product
2. Radically re-engineering an existing process
